2010 Alumni Crawfish Boil

This years' crawfish boil was undoubtedly one of biggest and most successful alumni weekends ever hosted by the Eta Tau Chapter. With over 50 esteemed alumni in attendance the brothers of Eta Tau had no problem devouring the five hundred pounds of crawfish, potatoes, and corn that was provided. A special thanks to the Husband family who provided the equipment and experience required to cook such delicious crawfish. The afternoon’s festivities lasted well into the evening and by the end everyone was thoroughly worn out. It was most glorious to see so many brothers united by the bonds of love, truth, and honor come together for an afternoon of food and fun. Brothers attended from as far away as Oklahoma and West Texas. Further, the mix of older and younger alumni created an atmosphere ripe for storytelling, and stories were in abundance. Many alumni were even generous enough to offer suggestions on the betterment of the chapter.

In conclusion, the festivities were considered to be a success by all in attendance. On behalf of the Eta Tau Chapter, we would like to thank the alumni who took time out of their schedule to honor their lifelong commitment to brotherhood. A special thanks to all the active members who helped plan and set up for the event. Next year’s crawfish boil is already in the planning stages and we hope to see all of you there.
